One thing to mention quickly is that we do not labour on the change request stages. You may have heard it called project initiation, project inception, change request initiation, change request inception, change evaluation, change feasibility or maybe yet another change title.
Basically, these are processes to determine if a business change is worthy of resources spent on a proposal to describe the change before significant resource is spent, to reject those that are not and to approve those that demand more study and more work. You enter the Toolkit with a business change request which passes into the change request evaluation.
The business change request is addressed by your change board and is swiftly assessed for the purposes of business or technical efficacy and worth. This element of the process is performed quickly because instantly bad or inappropriate change requests can be instantly identified.
