Dependencies are very often mixed up with project constraints. Project constraints are not dependencies; constraints are situations that provisionally restrain a project. These tend to fall into one of three types: Technical, resources and operational. Throughout a project the use of the term constraint tends to lapse and an alternative term gets adopted instead. This is Bottleneck. A bottleneck is an impediment to the project that is a technical, resource or operational issue preventing progress on producing deliverables.

Project constraints are not to be confused with the project management constraints: time, quality, cost & features.

If you want to document constraints, the RAID is a good place and if you are pedantic about titles add a letter C to the RAID title to make a CRAID Log, record them here and move on.
