It is vitally important that your management team are not distracted to other ventures and are uniquely focused on the job in hand: namely your project.

Management Commitment is necessary to ensure knowledgeable and correct participants attend a workshop and perform the necessary preliminary work prior to undertaking the workshop.

Management need to ensure that the participants value the work they are doing on the workshop and feel a contributing part of the project.

They need to be supportive that the participants will contribute fully, completely and without external influence.

The Commitment of management is also necessary to assure that the objectives of the workshop are achieved and that no opposing strains are placed on the project, are on the workshop attendees.

Elsewhere in the Toolkit, we concentrate on the three fundamental management elements.
 Management of time
 Management of quality
 Management of cost
